The illustration has also been the them for the re branding of Peacock, all the animations and illustrations for the web site created by me! The website has been developed and build by the superb company Skyskraper.
This was a great illustration as the brief was simply to create a visually rich and very very detailed image that had a lot of energy and being based on the idea of a doodle, the sort you make when using the phone etc etc.I have also designed a simpler version which has been made into limited edition T-shirts for clients, I'll post an image of this when i get a chance to photo one on someone!
I have been filling numerous pages i my sketch book with this strange one eyed robot for a while now and decided it was time to colour! It's a very free flowing sketch technique and gives all the interesting shapes where the lines overlap. I am quite happy with the colouring although may knock it back to one or two tones of colour. Any crits or comments welcome.
This is an image I have wanted to illustrate for quite a while, well not precisely this composition but the subject matter of ww2. I wanted to get across a comic book feel, the feel of the old war comics I used to read as a child, that may or may not have warped my fragile little mind! I have some other images planned in this style and this subject. Any comments on this image are more than welcome as ever.

The idea was a creature that was in pain, crying, not all creatres/monsters have to be scary, the creature is in despair, maybe the figures in the light behind are there to comfort it or maybe something more sinister? Any comments welcome as always, thanks!

This image was done entirely in Photoshop, it's a process that I dont usually practice, although the initial original idea was a sketch in my trusty sketchbook. It's meant to be a moody, dark industrial landscape with a huge grounded airship having repair works carried out on it whilst the pilot looks on. I sketched it in photoshop loosely ten began to go over the light lines with a thicker brush and then added in the highlights. I am pleased with the overall feel of the illustration, the red sky making it seem very industrial and atmospheric, as ever opinions are most welcome! thanks

This image has developed from a life drawing course I have just completed. Its the first image of monster anatomical style illustrations that I am in the middle of producing. The idea is basically life drawings, be they pencil, charcoal, etc but of creatures such as this rather than the normal nude human figures. I have produced this illustration in pencil then scanned the sketch and added light and dark in photoshop. I am quite pleased with the overall look and feel, although I would of like to add some more depth and detail perhaps. Any feedback most welcome as ever!
