This illustration I wanted to have a feel as though it was a still from an animation. So i coloured it simply in photoshop and didn't add too much shading to give that cell animation feel. It's meant to show the stark contrast bewteen all the huge random mechanical, robotic machinery and the tiny slither of flesh of the womens face, encassed in her body armour, looking up with suprise amybe fear, very vunerable with all the powwerful and unforgiving machinery around. A cold world. This was a sketch using a fine line pen and then scanned and coloured lovingly in photoshop!
