This was a sketch in my sketch book done in pencil and deliberately smudged to give a nice, aged look. I then scanned and coloured in photoship using chalky type brushes to heighten the old illustration feel. The subject is an ink baby riding one of the many storks that fish and inhabit the floating lily gardens. It's one of a series of illustrations I have completed for a short story I am producing.
